I was surfing around and found some free t-shirt designs here: http://www.yougraph.com/free_tshirt_designs.asp...you have to register for an account, but they look pretty cool!

I wanted to amend my original post...I went and registered for an account, then downloaded one of the designs randomly...very very nice! Easy to modify and change a graphic, separated out into layers...instead of merged, all fonts are outlines...but they have a link that enables you to download a zip file with all their fonts (this of course includes a licensing disclaimer).
