Well, I'm obviously new to this forum and I hope someone out there can help me.

I've been vectoring for quite some time now, if you want to look at some of my work, check below:

Now, what I'm looking for is something that would make my workflow MUCH faster and easier but I can't seem to find a solution for the life of me.

What I'm looking for:

When I'm vectoring, lets say I'm making a simple hour glass shape. I'll click my first point, then I'll click my second point to make the curve I want and I'm left with my last point selected, with 2 large arms coming out from it.

Usually from here, I'll press alt (Option on Mac) and click that very last point I made to kill off 1 anchor (or what I like to call them, arms) and continue on my merry way to complete my super sweet hour glass shape.

What I would consider my Holy Shortcut, is the ability to automate pressing Alt + Left Clicking my last point I had originally selected with a single key strong/macro.

I'm trying my best to explain what I'm looking for so I apologize if after reading this you're like "wtf is this lad talking about?" lol

Can anyone help me?

Thank you infinitely in advance.

Actually I realized pressing Alt + Clicking the point killing off one arm (anchor) is just a bad habit of mine, I just need to click the last point but I'm still looking for a shortcut for that exact function.

I don't think there is a shortcut for killing handles (I guess these are what you call arms) in Illustrator. What I do when I vectorize is to create 2 custom shortcuts - 1 for Pen Tool (E) and one for Convert Anchor Point Tool (R). These are 2 tools I need to vectorize 99% of all images. I make sure letters are side by side and by switching between these two tools I can kill off handles I don't need quickly.
