When using illustrator to search through my type font library, either with the arrow up or down or scrolling with the mouse it will make this HUGE jump?  I could be in "A" and it will go to the very end.  I could be in "H" and it will do the same thing???  I can't figure out what the heck is the deal?  Any ideas on what to do so i can just scroll from fonts A-Z with out any issues?  Thanks

Trevis

Same thing happens to me. Sometimes it seems like if I scroll through them real slow it doesn't do it as bad. Still can't figure out why it does it though.

Are you using Windows? I just tried to do the same thing on my Apple and I cannot get it to jump at all.

Thanks,
Josh

I use Windows and it does the jump thing for me.

Illustrator never had decent font management tools and probably never will. If they couldn't fix it till version 16 then probably they never will.

And tat's dumb cuz it doesn't do that to me in Photoshop. Think the idiots at Adobe would get their products in check. Too worried about making the next version they can release way before the glitches are out of it.

I use Suitcase Fusion and have no problems and they work hand in hand with Adobe.

Yeah, I agree with The Fan. I like FontExplorer X Pro though, I find my font there and activate. All I use the font menu for in Illustrator is to find my newly activate font.
