Does this happen with every image you try and trace or is it random? Thanks,

Josh

That didn't really answer the question. Does this happen with every image you try and trace or is it random? Thanks,

Josh

Yes it does, wonder if it automaticlly addes another layer?
Did a trace the other day, and 90% of it was double layered and the
rest not.
That is why I answered your question the way I did.
Thanks

Hmmm....was the image you were tracing in multiple layers? It has to be a setting somewhere, especially if you reinstall and the issue reoccurs. Thanks,

Josh

Single layer JPEG.

I do alot of  Custom Vectoring for customers and it`s a pain to spend extra time deleting double lines.

Thanks

That does sound like a pain. I think it has to be some kind of program setting or maybe a live trace setting. I use Illustrator all the time and have never experienced this issue. Not in CS, CS2, CS3, or CS4. Not too sure what it might be :(
